I grew up in a turbulent family environment where everyone tried their best to cope with chaos. I had undiagnosed ADHD and I tried to fit in by hiding my impulsivity. It’s a common experience for many of us, feeling the need to mask parts of ourselves that don’t match societal expectations.
We've all had unique qualities or differences ridiculed by family, friends, or society, leading to a lifetime of concealing our true selves. This constant effort to control emotions and avoid shame can consume much of our time, leaving us disconnected from what truly matters, including relationships.
The process of embracing these masked parts of ourselves can lead to a remarkable transformation. By acknowledging and processing long-buried emotions, we can finally prioritize self-care and self-acceptance.
In therapy with me, I’ll guide you towards self-acceptance and emotional healing that will give you the freedom to live without the constant weight of shame and self-doubt.

I believe that you hold the answers within yourself. I'm here to help you find them. Discovering Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy transformed my life a decade ago, offering me a profound sense of self and inner peace I'd long sought externally. I've shifted from wandering outward, to relationships, careers, adventures to find a sense of peace to traveling inward to find the treasure of self love.
In doing so, I’ve developed a more fulfilling existence and a desire to share these transformative experiences with others. I love the simplicity and depth of this approach, and I'm excited to help you on your path to inner peace.

Growing up with a chronically ill parent and struggling with it myself, has completely shaped my understanding of resilience and healing. Years spent studying and practicing Zen meditation have profoundly influenced my ability to live in the present moment and in my body, despite living with pain. Spending hours upon hours on a zafu, I was able to resolve the divide between my mind and body.
When I discovered IFS, my life transformed. I was able, for the first time, to embrace all parts of myself and to live an authentic life free from constant inner turmoil. IFS helped me meet and unburden parts of myself that were trying to help me avoid my body pain with anxiety. I was also able to attend to my younger selves that were holding grief from childhood and impacting my parenting. By doing this, I became a more present and patient mother. Today, by integrating IFS and mindfulness, I can calm my nervous system and quiet my active ADHD brain.
Trauma and stress take a toll on the body. As a former nurse, I have a unique perspective that informs my holistic approach to therapy. If you work with me, we’ll properly assess all of your body symptoms and attend to them with compassionate care, mindfulness, breath work, meditation and parts work.
